UNIQUEWORK Inc. (“we”) recognizes the importance of your personal information, complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and related laws, and handles your personal information in accordance with the following privacy policy (“this policy”).
Article 1 (Definition of personal information)
“Personal information” means personal information as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan: information about a living individual that can identify a specific person by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details or other descriptions contained in it.
Article 2 (How we collect personal information)
You may provide us with personal information such as your name, company name, address, telephone number and email address through the contact form, the question form on this website, service agreements and similar means.
Article 3 (Handling of text entered in the question form)
Questions entered in the question form on this website are stored for one year from the date of entry, to improve the accuracy of answers and to prepare new prepared answers, and are then deleted.
To select the matching answer, the question text is sent to the API of an AI model provided by Anthropic, PBC. We use the API under terms that do not allow the text to be used for training AI models.
Please do not enter personal information in your questions. If you do, we will not use it for any purpose other than the above.
Answers to questions are selected from texts we have prepared in advance. No text is generated by AI for display.
Article 4 (Handling of inquiries)
Messages sent through the contact form are stored in order to respond to the inquiry.
Article 5 (Purposes of collection and use)
We collect and use personal information for the following purposes.
- To provide and operate our services
- To respond to inquiries
- To send information related to our services
- To screen candidates for employment and outsourcing
- To send important notices from us
- Other purposes incidental to the above
Article 6 (Third-party services)
This website uses Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., to prevent automated abuse. Information about your browser may be sent to Cloudflare as part of its operation.
We also use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC (via Google Tag Manager), to understand how the website is used. It collects usage data through cookies and similar technologies; the data does not identify individuals, and question text is not sent.
The company page embeds Google Maps, provided by Google LLC, to show our office location. Information about your browser may be sent to Google when the map is displayed.
Article 7 (Provision to third parties)
We do not provide personal information to third parties without your prior consent, except in the following cases.
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect a person’s life, body or property and obtaining consent is difficult
- When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and obtaining consent is difficult
- When cooperation is required for a national or local government body, or a party entrusted by one, to perform duties prescribed by law
Article 8 (Disclosure, correction and deletion)
If you request disclosure, correction, addition, suspension of use or deletion of your personal information, we will respond within a reasonable period after confirming that the request comes from you, except where we are not obliged to do so under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws.
Article 9 (Changes to this policy)
We may change this policy without notice, except where laws or this policy provide otherwise. The revised policy takes effect when it is published on this website.
